I am a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have worked as a counselor in public school, agency, medical, and private practice settings.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of concerns and offer individual counseling as well as marital/premarital and family counseling. Â

I specialize in working with individuals whose issues include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, as well as life transitions, marriage and family issues, complex trauma, and PTSD.

I take an integrated approach to counseling, drawing upon a variety of counseling theories and methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to assist clients who need to process trauma. Â

My goal is to help clients of all backgrounds work through past traumas, anxieties, and other difficulties to achieve a better quality of life.
Master’s degree in Counseling from North Carolina State University.
